Preliminarily closure of Irsching 4 and Irsching 5

Uniper has notified the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) as well as the grid operator Tennet of its plan to preliminarily closure the Irsching 4 CCGT power plant as of April 1, 2018.

The ownership consortium consisting of ENTEGA, Mainova, N-Energie and Uniper has likewise notified the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) as well as the grid operator Tennet of its intention to preliminarily closure the Irsching 5 CCGT power plant as of April 1, 2018 as well.

Both plants belong to the German Grid Reserve since April 1, 2016.
